Love these photos of Alia! We had an absolute blast on this shoot that was completely inspired from a clothing catalog that I received in the mail this Spring. Just a Few of My Favs

It has been a really busy Spring and I have all but forgotten this blog of mine that is constantly behind. Instead of trying to catch up I thought I would just post a few of my favs from this year so far. The last images are very special to me because I got to use my special gift of being able to work with special needs children. Alia's family came to me because they wanted to have her photographed with her chicken that is very special to her. We had a hard time connecting at first, but then I used what I have only learned from my son to get her to see the camera and it was a beautiful touching moment. I also learned from her mom that Alia was picked on by many of the girls at school and told she was not pretty and we got to make her feel beautiful. It was very special moment to me and I will never forget the session. It was wonderful to make a very special little girl feel beautiful. We made her a special locket to remember how truly pretty she is.
