~St. Louis Wedding Photographer~

Courtney's and Charlies's day was filled with so many beautiful details and surprises that I just had to share them. Their day started out with all sorts of jewelry and ended with a surprise Mariachi Band at the coolest venue. Their wedding was held St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clayton, MO with the reception to follow at  Mad Art Gallery in St. Louis. If you don't know about Mad Art you should.  It is a reception site created from an old police station that has now become a gallery for many St. Louis Contemporary Artists.  Anyway, it was a "Super Cool" place so if you are planning your wedding in the St. Louis area, check it out!

~Springfield IL Wedding Photographer~

Sabina and Colby!  I know we have had a lot of weird weather this past year, but I have to say the this day was probably the strangest of all.  As the day started, it was raining buckets and the wind was so strong the my umbrella turned inside out while I was carrying my gear into the building at Piper Glenn.  I arrived an hour early so that Colby and I could come up with a back-up plan because their wasn't one and I wanted their images to look the best if we had to move the wedding inside.  A tent would not have even worked the weather was so bad! But, about one hour before the the wedding ceremony was to start the weather completely cleared (All of my couples seem to have this strange luck) and everything went off without a hitch.  This is why I had to start my post with a beautiful sky! Enjoy!

PS:  Wedding DIY.  There flowers on the table were made from tissue paper! Super cute idea which I haven't seen in years!
