Lately, life has been flying by both in my home and at the studio.  Things truly have not slowed down since January which is historically planning time here at Green Apple Photo. We have been completely blessed during a time when things could have gotten completely tough.  Because, things have been so busy I am greatly looking forward to vacation with my family which will not happen until August due to my busy work schedule, but just can't wait to slow down for 10 whole days and just hang out in the sun and sand!  When I look at this photo of Little Miss A, it just reminds me how time has flown.  My little one is now 5 and very rambunctious, a far cry from a sleepy little newborn, but oh so enjoyable in many other ways!  If you have a little one, don't forget to tell them how precious they are to you every day.   At our house we say "I love you to the moon and back and the stars" a few times a day and always before bed!  Have a fantastic weekend!

So recently I have had quite a few brides find me and book me when actually googling "apple green weddings."  They were looking for design details for their weddings and were using the color apple green for the base of their color palette.  This gave me the idea to post some of my details from a wedding last year in which on of my brides used the same color!  Happy wedding designing!

We have had so many babies in lately!  It has really been a fully packed schedule. I just had to share this photo of little Alena. So excited!  Just this past weekend, I was browsing the magazine rack at a local book store looking at fashion trends and saw a copy of Chicago Social Brides on the shelf.  I had remembered that maybe some of my photos were going to be placed in the magazine, so I thought I should check.  Sure, enough there was one of my images and my copy right!  So proud and very excited that such an amazing publication featured my image!  Just had to share!

What a sweet, smart, and remarkably intelligent young lady!  And did I mention that I love her hair color and sense of style, and I would die to have her skin!  We had a great time and even weathered the cold for a few of her senior photos, but I just loved this one.
