Passport to Columbia, Missouri- A Wedding

Nessaan and Jason-  Where do I start?!  These two are an amazing couple!  The theme for their wedding was travel.  They have both lived away from each other pretty much since they had their first date.  Neesaan stayed in Columbia to finish medical school and Jason left for New Hampshire to pursue his love of Engineering at Anheuser-Busch Brewery there. So they had to make it through medical school and a new career.  They are still going strong and madly, and deeply in love with each other.

Neesaan had a real vision for her day to a T.  Each and every detail was gorgeous and based around travel from the invitations to the programs and even the table cards!  If you are looking for inspiration for your own wedding and to get the brain a tickin' look no further and most of all Enjoy!

One of my favorite Photojournalism Projects

In March Annette asked me if there was anyway I could fit in a session in the next three days.  I had been totally booked since January and sometimes you just need to take some time off, but anything Annette has ever asked me to do has always turned into an awesome project so I was game.  She, her girls, and mom were baking break and making biscotti for a local charity dinner and she really want me to document her girls learning to bake.  How could I turn down a project like that!  The shoot was like being on a TV set and we had lots of laughs, along with keeping her husband busy holding lighting for me.  It was tons of fun and I got to eat some amazing biscotti to boot!  How do you beat that!

This is one of my favorite photos from a mini photo session I did with Taylor before his big brother Issac arrived!  I will be photographing baby Issac tomorrow, so check back!

A Last Minute Senior Session

Hunter needed his photos done ASAP after getting his braces off earlier this past month. He had a real idea of what he wanted and some of his favorite locations.  So Green Apple Photo got it done for him and we have to Thank Hunter for sharing this gorgeous location!

It is almost Summer in Springfield, IL. Hooray!

Spring has flown by this year.  I am not sure I even had the chance to realize it was here! The blog has been pretty dead for the past few weeks due to my hectic travel schedule and lots of sessions.  I thought today might be the day I would catch up with a few sessions that I shot this spring and a gorgeous wedding.  So here we go, post #1 Little James!  I have photographed lots of 1 year olds lately in the Springfield studio.  Boy are they full of personality!  Enjoy Grandma Isabel!
